Tour Route    Our Fantastic Tour departs at the Southern most BOOKED pickup point. We then make our way north via the Gold Coast Highway through Surfers Paradise to Hope Island and after crossing the Pacific Motorway, we begin the climb up to Tamborine Mountain.
Gallery Walk at Tamborine is a quaint setting offering local arts and crafts. There is time here for an optional but scrumptious devonshire tea at FAIRYTALE TASSELDOM.
We then take in the awesome views over the ALBERT VALLEY before descending into the valley and arriving at the historic town of CANUNGRA.
Then it's a 900 metre climb up the mountain with breathtaking views over the KERRY VALLEY. After this climb, there is a visit to the Alpaca Stud and Rainforest Gallery, where you can see these amazing animals and feel the silky texture of their 'fibre of the gods' as it was known by the South American Incas.
A short drive takes us through the lush green sub-tropical rainforest, with it's enchanting and ancient Antarctic Beech and Strangler Figs, dating back many thousands of years, before arriving at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat and Plateau.
Tree Top Walk
While we are at O'Reilly's, there is plenty of time to wander along the BOOYONG BOARDWALK and explore the rainforest canopy from the TREE TOP WALK.
The birdlife at O'Reilly's really is amazing, with plenty of colourful birds to photograph at close range.

By now you are really hungry and the Mountain Cafe offers a selection of tempting food, which can be eaten whilst overlooking panoramic views over the McPherson Ranges and the Great Dividing Range.
Great View

Before we leave there is time to purchase some momentos at the Mountain Gift Shop which offers a range of clothing, souvenirs and gifts.

Vineyard
It's now time to head back down the mountain, but on the way we visit O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyard, where award winning reds, whites and ports can be sampled.
The historic homestead, "Killoween" provides a great  backdrop to this picturesque boutique winery on the banks of Canungra Creek, which is also home to the Australian Platypus.

Then it's back to the coast via Mount Tamborine, being much richer for the experience of the Lamington National Park and O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, and knowing that you've really enjoyed a GREAT day tour with -
